License Agreement

This document outlines the License Agreement for Blookie, a UI component and template library by Blookie LLC. By using Blookie assets, you agree to these terms. If you're entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or legal entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

License Types

Blookie LLC grants you a non-exclusive license to use Blookie components and templates according to the license tier you’ve selected: Free, Pro, or Team.

Free License

This license is for a single developer and grants limited access to components and templates for evaluation purposes.

You can:

  • Use Free components in unlimited personal and commercial projects.
  • Modify Free components and templates.
  • Use in open-source projects, as long as the components themselves are not the focus or easily extractable.

You cannot:

  • Redistribute or resell components as standalone assets.
  • Use Blookie to build a competing product (UI kits, design systems, page builders, etc.).
  • Share your account or component access with others.

Personal License

This license is for a single developer and grants full access to all components and templates.

You can:

  • Use Blookie to create unlimited personal or commercial End Products.
  • Modify components to fit your needs.
  • Use in open-source projects, as long as components themselves are not redistributed or easily extractable.

You cannot:

  • Redistribute or resell components as standalone assets.
  • Use Blookie to build a competing product (UI kits, design systems, page builders, etc.).
  • Share your account or component access with others (including clients or collaborators).

Team License

This license is for teams or companies and allows unlimited users within the organization.

You can:

  • Use Blookie to create unlimited End Products.
  • Share access to Blookie within your organization (employees, freelancers, contractors).
  • Modify components to fit your needs.
  • Use in open-source projects, as long as components themselves are not redistributed or easily extractable.

You cannot:

  • Redistribute or resell components as standalone assets.
  • Use Blookie to build a competing product (UI kits, design systems, page builders, etc.).
  • Share access outside your organization (e.g., clients or the public).

Definitions

  • Licensee: The individual or entity that has purchased or signed up for a Blookie license.
  • Components: The UI elements, templates, or design assets provided by Blookie.
  • End Product: A final website, app, or platform that incorporates Blookie components or derivatives.
  • End User: A user of an End Product.
  • Client: A third party for whom the Licensee is building an End Product.

Examples of Allowed Usage

  • Creating personal or company websites.
  • Building apps or SaaS products that charge users.
  • Developing internal tools or client projects.

Examples of Prohibited Usage

  • Creating a public repo of Blookie components.

  • Using Blookie in a site or app that allows others to build UIs using Blookie components.

  • Releasing themes or templates based on Blookie components as standalone downloads.

  • Converting Blookie to another framework and distributing it.

  • Using Blookie in open-source in a way that allows access to components directly.

  • All Blookie products are digital and delivered via your account dashboard. No physical items are provided.

  • Support is available via email at hello@blookie.io. We aim to respond quickly, but do not guarantee specific support timeframes.

  • Updates to components and templates are released regularly for paid and free users.

Payments and Refunds

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We don't store your payment details.
  • You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting hello@blookie.io. After that, all sales are final.

User accounts

  • You are responsible for securing your account. We are not liable for any loss due to unauthorized access.
  • You may delete your account or export your personal data at any time.
  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violating these terms.

Intellectual Property

Blookie and its original content, features, and components are owned by Blookie LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blookie LLC’s liability for damages arising from your use of the product is limited to a refund of your purchase price. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to License

We may update this License Agreement at any time. You will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued use of Blookie assets constitutes acceptance of the updated License.
